The Goedhart Method
A unique combination of disciplines to help reduce stress, anxiety and open doors of creativity and focus. As an accomplished artist, certified hypnotherapist and Tai Chi / Qigong instructor Skee Goedhart brings together his life-long passions into a dynamic tool for personal growth and change.
Here’s how it works:
1. Body - Soul Attunement - Using the ancient system of Tai Chi / Qigong to utilize breath, visualization and gentle, fluid body movement to allow for a proper flow of circulation of internal energy (our life force).
2. Mind Massage – A guided journey into an inner world of peace and relaxation. Utilizing time honored hypnotic techniques to focus the mind and release subconscious stress.
3. Creative Play – Working with a wide variety of art tools / techniques to connect the conscious and subconscious minds and tap into our vast pool of creativity.
Engaging the body, mind and spirit the Goedhart Method combines these modalities in a such a way that allow for a natural, fun yet powerful release of built up tension and provide a key for unlocking creativity and mental focus.
Skee has been painting for more than 30 years. His work has been featured both locally and internationally in numerous galleries, blogs and websites. As a hypnotherapist Skee has a private practice in Tarzana where he specializes in stress and phobia reduction, pain management, building self-esteem and mental focus. He has been practicing Tai Chi for more than a decade and presently teaches at a Los Angeles based dual diagnostic facility. He uses this ancient practice as a way to center the mind and reduce stress with his clients.
